About Us

Miriam founded the firm in 1998 and is a CPA. Previously she worked for Rock-Tenn Company as a tax specialist for 2 years, for a local accounting firm called Daniel Pappadakis and Company as an auditing manager for 2 years, and started her accounting career with Adams, Howard & Banks, PC in various positions where she worked for nearly 9 years.

Miriam earned an AA from Oxford College of Emory University and a BBA in Accounting from Georgia State University. Miriam specializes in several areas of accounting including financial reporting, small business accounting, QuickBooks, and corporate and individual taxation.

Miriam has two children Eric and Ryan and two dogs Sparky and Sammy. Miriam enjoys walking, biking, tennis and watching her sons play competitive baseball.

Julia is a CPA and the Firm Manager for Worth and Associates. Previously she worked for 4 years for Ernst & Young and 11 years for BellSouth Corporation in various tax and accounting positions. She has worked for Worth and Associates since early 2006. 

Julia earned a BBA in Accounting from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Taxation from Georgia State University. Her area of expertise is income taxes, both individual and business. Julia has extensive experience with IRS and state audits.

Julia is married to Angelo, has two young adult children, Garrett and Maria, and has a dog Jay.  Julia enjoys playing tennis, reading and watching the Atlanta Braves.

Charlene has been with Worth and Associates since 2001. Previously she worked for over 15 years for Champion Computer Products and PC Warehouse in various accounting positions. At Worth and Associates, Charlene’s area of expertise is bookkeeping and payroll taxes.   

Charlene is our in house QuickBooks expert. Charlene is also responsible for preparation of corporate and individual tax returns, sales tax returns, and business personal property tax returns.

Charlene lives in Gainesville with her two young adult children, Reese and Riley.  She enjoys playing tennis, reading, and hanging out with family.

Julie has been with Worth and Associates since 2006. Previously she worked for several different companies, including Sabre Group in various administrative positions.  

Julie earned a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia. At Worth and Associates, Julie is responsible for administrative duties as well as preparation of corporate and individual tax returns, payroll tax returns, business personal property tax returns, and bookkeeping for clients.

She lives in Suwanee with her husband Rob and her two children Caitlin and Patrick. Julie enjoys watching Patrick’s various shooting competitions, reading, and supporting Georgia football.

Monica has been with Worth and Associates since 2003. Previously she worked for 14 years for BellSouth with various responsibilities including customer service, retirements, pension payroll, and contract management.

At Worth and Associates, Monica’s area of expertise is payroll and payroll taxes. Monica is also responsible for preparation of corporate and individual tax returns, sales tax returns, business personal property tax returns, and bookkeeping.
 

Monica is married to Tracy, has two teenage children, Madison and Haley, and three dogs. Monica enjoys attending Haley's volleyball tournaments, reading, hanging out with extended family, and volunteering at St. Francis’ Table Soup Kitchen in Atlanta.

Anne has worked for Worth and Associates since 2008. She previously worked for the accounting firm Bennett–Thrasher. Anne has worked independently for 13 years providing controller services to small and mid size companies.

Anne graduated from the College of Charleston with a BBA in Business, with an additional 45 hours of accounting credit. At Worth and Associates, Anne provides controller services and financial statement preparation for several large clients. These services include establishing accounting and inventory procedures for new and established lines of business. 

Anne is married to Ferlin and lives in Roswell with her small zoo of cats and dogs. She loves to travel and spend time at the beach.
